Built on the great experience of 2016 project, “Community Links” that took place in Ireland, Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen in collaboration with Les Scouts and the European Region of WOSM, on behalf of The Partnerships Network and in cooperation with their troika, are pleased to invite you and your partner organisations to the “Partnerships Step by Step” Event, which will be held between 24 and 27 February 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
This event is organised by The Partnerships Network, a coalition of Scout and Guide associations, which aims at fostering, strengthening and developing partnerships between associations in Europe and associations from other regions of the world.
The overall idea of the network is to share and create information about ongoing partnerships, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge. A continuing reflection on the relevance of partnerships, as well as the promotion of intercultural understanding and mutual respect are central elements of the Partnership Network.
At this particular Partnership Event, the objectives will be:
The event will be held at Brussels, Belgium. The venue is easily accessible by metro, tram and bus. Accommodation will be in shared rooms (up to four people sharing). There is a possibility to be accommodated in single bedrooms for an extra fee of 40€ per night. Please contact the hosting team at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to have specific accommodation. More information will be provided directly to all the participants when their registration is confirmed.
The participation fee for the event is EUR 250. This fee does not include travel cost to reach the venue. You will be provided with the necessary information on how to make the payment prior to the event. For the participation of your partner associations, we count on your financial support. Some financial support for the participation of NSOs coming from the Asia-Pacific Region of WOSM can be provided upon request by the European Scout Region (maximum 500 euro/person travel costs that will be distributed on first come first served).
